Two 8s enjoyed a final practice run in preparation for their competition in the Brown Bear Invitational this morning. Here's some evidence of just how glorious some of these rows at dawn can be!
Good luck all crews on Sunday!

Today was a very exciting day for KRA! We took home first and third place medals in our two events and were recognized as being one of the top fundraising clubs for cancer care in our area.
KRA was successful in spearheading donations of more than $15k which earned us the coveted pink erg, cox box and speed coach.
Both crews performed very well and enjoyed the conraderie of joining area rowers for such a good cause.
Next up, the Brown Bear Regatta at Bainbridge Island.

Getting in a final practice for the Pink Ribbon Regatta on Sunday. KRA is entering an 8 and 4 in this race.
Yesterday, we met our goal of raising $15k for breast cancer care and we are eternally grateful for the overwhelming support we receive from family, friends, and our community!
It's not too late to donate for this case cause. Congrats to this soggy Learn-To-Row crew: Coach Mary, Dan, Margaret, Emme, Brad and Lisa! They finished on a high and dry note and we’ll see them in the boat again soon! The next LTR class is in May 2027. Do something amazing!
🎀 **ERG #2 HAS BEEN CLAIMED!** 🎀
Congratulations to **Kitsap Rowing Association** — our second crew to cross the **$12,000 fundraising mark** and earn a brand-new PINK Concept 2 erg! 💗
And here’s what makes this one especially fun:
Kitsap has just **8 people on their fundraising team**.
Eight people. $12,000+ raised. One pink erg earned. 💪
And they’re not finished.
Kitsap tells us they’re going for the **full $15,000 prize package** — so keep rowing, Kitsap! That finish line is getting awfully close. 🏁
Every dollar raised through Pink Ribbon Row supports our breast cancer healthcare partners and the people they serve throughout our region.
A huge thank you to our **Signature Sponsor, Davis Law Group**, whose support makes these eight pink erg prizes possible, and to our partner **Concept 2** for helping us put some serious PINK into this year’s competition. 💗
**2 ergs claimed. 6 still up for grabs. Who’s next?** 👀

A great time with fellow rowers and some friendly competition, followed by a potluck with our neighbors at Bainbridge Island Rowing. KRA participated in several scrimmages today and despite the absence of sun, it was a terrific morning.
