Our Holiday mini Portraits are under way. Through December 14th we are offer $60 Mini Portraits. The sessions will be about 10 minutes long. You will have a private online gallery to view your proofs and to select the 1 retouched digital file included. Other files and prints are available. The images below show this year's set. Due to scheduling difficulties we will not be offering pet photos this year at Top Notch Dog Training. From December 2cd through the 7th we will be offering Holiday mini portraits in the studio at 84 Patrick Lane in Poughkeepsie. For $60 we will do a 5-10 minute mini sessions and that includes a retouched 5x7 print or a digital file. The sitting could be for small family groups, couples, individuals or dogs. We just passed our 12,000th job we have photographed. Doesn't count all the fundraisers or not for profits we have photographed for. Not too bad in about 40 years. Can't wait for the next 1000!

That magical time of year is once again upon us. It wouldn't be the holidays if we weren't teaming up with the great Top Notch Dog Training to photograph your dogs. Friday December 1st from 2pm-6pm (maybe later if needed, call us) at Top Notch Dog Training, 939 Route 376, Wappingers Falls. $25 for an archival 5x7 print that you can pick up at On Location Studios the following week or have mailed to you. Additional prints, digital files and holiday cards are available.

For those that haven't had a chance to meet the other studio dog, this is Braum doing what he does best. An absolute sweetheart of a dog. Stop by and meet him.

Our Digital Photography in Art teacher, Mr. Nowak is teaching remotely from his studio today.
Mr. Nowak has been co-owner of On Location Studios, located in Poughkeepsie, since 1995. His clients consist of Nuvance, Marist College, The Culinary Institute of America, and IBM just to name a few. Our Lady of Lourdes is fortunate to have such a skilled and proficient photographer as a member of our faculty.

Happy Holidays everyone! To set the scene here are some Holiday scenes we recently shot inside Locust Grove Estate. The furnishing are all original to Annette Young who was the last resident of Locust Grove. What makes this place more special to us it was originally inhabited by Samuel Morse who besides inventing Morse Code bought the new invention of photography to the United States in the form of the daguerreotype.
