I'm so excited to release "My Best Friend Has a Name" During Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I wrote this poem several years ago, my raw emotions as I felt helpless watching a friend go through an abusive relationship and how challenging it was to hear people in her life blaming her for staying.

I was so honored when The Art Effect reached out to ask me to participate in their Get Out The Vote campaign for the 2020 election. I met Aleria Gonzalez through this campaign, who produced several poetry videos with Viggy Productions.
