Exciting news! Ms. Jes has 3 openings this fall for students ages 10 - 13. Join us twice weekly, September through May, for a year of hands on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

(Classes are capped at 12 students so every child gets the individual care and education they deserve.)

I love, love, LOVE homemade sunprints! Such a fun way to explore measurements, chemical reactions, UV rays, and the art of exposure times!

This week, Ms. Alex explored water cleanliness with the kids. We learned about the dangers of oil spills, common cleanup practices, and heard stories about communities rallying together to save their local environments in the face of disaster.
Today, we focused on water purification systems. The kids built their own filters, explored how different materials strain water, and tested the best order for layering them. Best of all, like good engineers, we discussed what we would do differently and how we could improve our designs!

We had such an amazing time with Maureen of .bright.ny - from reptile facts, hands on experiences, and jokes in-between. If you want a super duper reptile expo centered around kids I can’t recommend her enough!
