We ended the day yesterday with some good old sunshine fun!! Pizza, popsicles, and the park! 🌞 🛝 💚

Last week, we got to learn all about life saving when our very own Leflore County EMS came to visit! They talked about their equipment, some techniques that they use, AND we got to walk through a real ambulance! So fun!

This week in Bible time, Ms. Megan talked about our beautiful earth 🌍 and all of the things in it that God created 👨‍🎨. We talked about how we should look at people, and our surroundings with our “God goggles” on. Like how incredibly proud we are when we work so hard 💪🏼 on something and can’t wait to show it off 🖼️ to others, and that is how God sees 👓 our world and each of us! We got to go on a nature 🍂 🕷️ 🪨 🏔️ 🌊 walk with our very own “God goggles” 🤓 on!

Genesis 1:24-27

In this weeks Bible time, Ms. Megan talked about insects 🐜 🐞. She talked about how insects work hard 💪🏼, they work together to get a job done. Just like we are called to work hard together to spread the Word 📖 and love ❤️ of God to others.

Colossians 3:23-24

We even got to have our special guest Mrs. Liana from the Leflore County OSU Extension Center come talk with us about 🐝. She talked about how hard they work giving us candles🕯️ , beautiful flowers 💐 to look at by pollination, and honey 🍯. She showed us her bee box, bee suit, fogger, and we even got to make our own beeswax candles 🕯️! So fun!

We had a couple of special visitors for Bible time this week. James and Clayton came and talked to us about butterflies 🦋 and how they change 🐛 , just like we do when we let Jesus in our hearts 💕 . We don’t sound the same, we don’t look the same, we don’t act the same. We are transformed, and our new lives begin!

🩵💚 The Seedlings kiddos wanted to let everyone know that Jesus Is Alive! And, they celebrated their risen Savior yesterday with cake, a bounce house, egg hunt, and planting flowers. Ms. Megan taught them all week about the real meaning of Easter, and we had fun celebrating it with our friends and family

Last week and this week in Bible time, we are talking about sheep 🐑 , shepherds, Jesus’s death on the cross, and His resurrection. We had the privilege of having Stephanie Garrison and her husband Kevin come talk to us about sheep shearing ✂️ . He showed us all of the steps of the process and what all it entails. They brought their clippers for us to see (don’t worry family, the blades were removed!), some real sheep wool, and even showed us some things that have been made from real wool 🪡! They talked about all the different kinds of sheep, the ones who have horns - the Jacob sheep, and how we have to take care of these animals because they aren’t able to tend to themselves. We talked about how Jesus is like our shepherd, and we are like His sheep because He protects us 🛡️ , keeps us safe from prey 🐺 , and helps make sure we are fed 🥘 and taken care of. AND we talked about how He will leave the 99 to come bring us back if we stray from the rest of the flock! 😯 That is an amazing love ❤️ !!!
