Jesus gave his disciples the authority of healing and casting out demons. They went the people of Israel, performing these deeds and bringing awareness of our Savior for all to see. He has given us authority too, to share his word in all we do.

Jesus healed the poor woman who had suffered for years. He knew her and her faith by her slight touch of his garment. We are also known to him even through a light touch of our faith.

Today we had our annual Trike-a-thon with Calvary Lutheran Pre-K to support Family Promise of North Idaho. Our teachers talk with kiddos about why families and children sometimes sometimes end up homeless. They get how important it is to love our neighbors and Family Promise is an incredible way to love our neighbors.

We love this service filled with crafts, singing, dancing, and "Burying the Alleluias." Lent is a sacred season for children of all ages and this is a great opportunity to start it off with joy and solemnity.
