Yesterday afternoon MTE had a surprise assembly to celebrate Mrs. Hemenway as she prepares for the next chapter into her retirement. Over the years, she has impacted countless lives in our school and community. πŸ’ž
The choir surprised her with a brand-new song, and the entire student body joined in for an incredibly heartwarming moment.
Plus, every single student wrote a personal note for a memory book she can cherish forever. πŸ’
Mrs. Hemenway, you are deeply loved and will be so missed. Thank you for everything! 🫎❀️

This week, MTE was busy making every moment count! πŸ«ŽπŸ’•
We started the week with a food drive competition, bringing in a combined donation of over 1,000 non-perishable food items! πŸ₯« Huge congratulations to Mrs. Fry’s class for bringing in the most donations. Thank you to everyone who contributed to helping our community.
🎢 The school choir wrapped up their final performance of the year, beautifully singing the national anthem at Avista Stadium! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈβšΎ
On Thursday, our 5th graders took a bittersweet step toward the future by visiting their upcoming middle schools! 🏫πŸ₯Ή
MTE also enjoyed a wonderful visit from the 2nd Chance Ranch animal rescue mobile petting zoo! πŸ„πŸ–πŸ“πŸ‘πŸ‡

🚨 ATTENTION MULLAN TRAIL FAMILIES 🚨

There are only 5 days left of school!
Our Lost & Found is completely overflowing, and we want to get these items back to their rightful owners before summer break.
πŸ”Ž What you can do:
Please remind your kids to dig through the Lost & Found for their missing jackets, water bottles, and lunchboxes tomorrow & next week!
Parents You are more than welcome to drop by MTE and check the racks yourself.
πŸ›‘ Please note: Any items remaining after the last day of school will be donated to charity.
If you are missing anything, please be sure to check the lost and found as soon as possible. Thank you! 🫎❀️

We are kicking off this week celebrating our 2nd-to-last Moose Monday of the year! πŸ«ŽπŸŽ‰

To make it even more exciting, we are having a donation competition: the class that brings in the most non-perishable food items will win a donut & pajama party! 🍩🧸

Start gathering those donations, and let the good times roll! 🫎❀️

It’s been a busy week at MTE! πŸŽ“ As the school year winds down, we are thrilled to celebrate the success and growth of our students.
🎢 The PF high school Jazz band & choir visited to show off their skills and let our students know what to expect when they reach middle school and high school.
β›ͺ Once again The Cataldo Mission was kind enough to host our 4th graders, teaching them about one of the first missions in North Idaho.
πŸ“š Our local PF library gave our kindergarteners & 1st graders
a very special behind the scenes tour!
🎳 Then, our big 5th graders had their traditional bowling party at our local River City Bowling Alley.
They were fantastic hosts!
One of MTE’s best attributes is the roots we grow and the connections we make with our students, families, and community. 🫎❀️
