This pretty much sums it up. The moment you build momentum the work load get easier, but if you stop for a moment to realize you are being played. Then you realize the carrot and stick are just a distraction to make you believe your serving the greater good and contributing to the ways things have always been. What if you didn’t have a cart to pull? What if it were more incentivizing? Or what if you didn’t have something to trick you into believing you’re useful? Those are questions I ask. When you run a business like I do, these are the things that I’m reminded every day I put the bridle on and hook myself up to the cart. And then you ask yourself why am I putting myself through this? Hell! it’s certainly not for the money. The government just takes all you’ve mustered up and fraudulently spends it on tap dancing lessons for paraplegics or studies on if you flip a piece of toast which side does it land on more often, so what’s the point? If I get all my tasks done on time, do I get a waffle party? I’ll fall back in line soon enough as to not make a scene, not rock the boat and get back to making someone else’s American dream come true. It sure would be nice to have some help along the way though.

Trying out different styles, I want my art to involve a love for texture without being predictable or “one trick pony modge podge” this piece is still in progress. The details are drawings and sketches my son Milo did as well as my own. I’m still grasping for ideas that work well together. But that’s what makes it fun.
