We are so grateful to longtime funders the Clark Foundation for making a multi-year commitment to invest in the work we do at Our Just Future! In a time where our local governments are cutting back on public services, grants like these help us get essential resources back into the community. This funding will support housing access and housing stability in East Portland, Gresham, and East Multnomah County. Thank you for trusting in our team!

At Our Just Future, we honor and stand with our LGBTQIA+ community – this month and every month. Our work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves safety, dignity, and belonging.
Housing justice cannot be separated from q***r justice. This Pride Month, we reaffirm our commitment to creating spaces where LGBTQIA+ people are seen, heard, and valued.
Happy Pride!

Last week we held our Community BINGO fundraiser, hosted by Beer Hall and Rogue Apostles Entertainment. We are so grateful to our community who showed up to support Our Just Future's mission to counters the forces that keep people and communities in poverty by building relationships and assets that create opportunity — today and for future generations.
We are raised over $12k to support our almost 20 affordable housing communities, shelters, and programs that help over 10,000 people. THANK YOU!

Troutdale's Public Safety & Equity Advisory Committee (PSEAC for short) wants to help our community stay ready. Emergencies can happen when we least expect them — and when they do, first responders may not always be able to reach everyone right away. That's why the most important step any of us can take is being prepared to care for ourselves and those around us. The more of us who are ready, the faster our community recovers together.
For more information on how to stay safe, before, during, and after emergencies, visit the city's Emergency Preparedness page, where you can also sign up for county alert notifications by text, email, and phone calls.

The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting temperatures in the 90s this Saturday, in the upper 90s on Sunday, and getting close to 100 on Monday. A key part of preparing communities for heat is getting the word out. Please help by sharing the following information and resources!
Cool spaces like libraries and malls will be open during normal hours this weekend. If someone in Portland needs help finding a cool space this weekend, they can dial 311 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. People can also find cooling spaces in Multnomah County on the interactive cooling space map at multco.us/hot.
