Loren and I are only about 3 weeks apart in expecting our babies! It was only fitting that she and her family were my last session before taking maternity leave. 🥰

Tonight I shot my last 2 photo shoots before having my baby! That means as soon as these are edited, I'm officially on maternity leave! 🥳 But to be honest, with families like the ones I had tonight, my job is so easy and fun it's actually bittersweet to be done for awhile! I mean seriously, look at those children, the dogs, everyone looking right at me?! Amazing! 😍

The Recio family has always been a total delight to work with, but as a mom about to have her second son I must say my heart melted even more than usual during this shoot full of brotherly love. 🥰 And Dominic is just as much of a dinosaur enthusiast as my son, so we had a lot to talk about! 😉

I figure I can share a few "outtakes" from this session since they're of my best friend. 😍 I think it's important to include some of the sillier photos in client's galleries because as much as we love beautiful, smiling photos... this is REAL life with young children! Years from now these are the shots that are guaranteed to make us smile!

And regarding the last two photos: When you're just trying to get a photo of mom and dad, and one kid wants to be a creeper in the background and you finally get him to move... only for his brother to take his place. 😂 Don't worry, I'm a professional, I'll just Photoshop those cute little boogers out of the background. 😜
