Come and join our fun collective!!! We’re always looking for more hands in the dirt! If you’d like to participate in a garden or learn more information about the Urban Farm Collective, send us an email! We’d love to hear from you!

We will be hosting this workshop at our farm. Biochar is magic!! Come learn how you can burn wood in a way that stores carbon AND provide a rich amendment for your soil.

Join us on Saturday, May 14th for a hands-on workshop and live biochar demonstration! Learn all about biochar and how it can increase soil productivity, reduce wildfire risk and slow climate change.

The workshop includes a 2-hour presentation at the Columbia Grange to go over biochar basics, production techniques, benefits and applications. Then there will be a live demonstration at a neighboring Corbett farm using their community kiln. All those interested in biochar are welcome to attend, including foresters, farmers, natural resource professionals and residents!

Please bring a lunch, water bottle, sturdy boots, and leather gloves. Wear cotton, wool or other fire-resistant clothing. No fleece or nylon. Visit our website to learn more and sign up!

What an honor to be part of such an amazing group of appreciative, supportive, motivated individuals who love and honor the space as much as we all do!
