I've finally updated my website to reflect that I'm not taking new patients/clients. It's official!

Holistic Housecall Veterinary Service Lisa Hoberg, DVM is a holistic veterinarian practicing in Portland, Oregon.

Anyone looking for a kitten? Someone dropped these kittens off at my neighbor's house knowing she would find homes for them. Contact me and I'll hook you up! 8-10 weeks.

Edited to add: kittens have been relocated to a very reliable shelter!

For years now, people have asked me if I am still working, running my house-call practice and if and when I plan to retire.

Having recently turned 70 my "retirement plan" is to continue to work and do house-calls but I will not be taking new clients and patients. Of course there no doubt will be some exceptions as I am very healthy, capable and interested in veterinary practice. But it is time to take a break, at least for now.

I've been a veterinarian for 39 years, with 26 years in house-call practice. It's been a pleasure to serve my clients and their pets through the years. Thank you!

This new shop opened up in Lloyd Center mall yesterday - very exciting to have a place to buy gently used, refurbished pet supplies. There are plans to have adoption events for cats and rabbits on occasion which is a nice touch! I met these two bunnies yesterday!😍

This lucky kitty went to her new forever home today where she will be loved and cared for by a lucky couple and their grandchildren! Very happy she has a good home.

This lovely kitty Maybe, a sweet and friendly calico is looking for a new forever home. Her current guardian has to go into assisted living and cannot house her any longer. Would prefer to be a single-cat in a household. If you are interested, let me know and I can hook you up!
