Stefan Sagmeister: I Look Like This – PRINT Magazine Stefan Sagmeister’s exhibition I Look Like This presents a series of posters that function as self-portraits, exploring how he has used his own body and identity over four decades to challenge the idea that graphic design is neutral.

I was poking around online and stumbled upon this amazing page on Letterform Archive about SF Bay Area punk flyers. Some of the content is not for the faint hearted, but wow! So much inspirational work.

This Just In: Punk Flyers of the Bay Area Our new collection offers a visual explosion of the 1970s–80s punk scene in Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco.

I have the day off so got to spend some extra time on the image for my weekly Anomalous Cinema post. The film is Nicole Kassell’s excellent “The Woodsman” from 2004. When I feature a movie I rate 10/10 I always do a large image for it. Someday I hope to publish a book version of my favorite films from the website.

This is a pretty Captain Obvious post, but “Squaring the Circle: The Story of Hipgnosis” is on Netflix now, and I highly recommend it. My only real criticism is that I would have liked more Peter Christopherson stories.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to share something I did some design work on (that isn’t for one of my own projects). Thankfully Anatomy of Habit just announced this release. You can see all the components at the link below.
