"We have TWO really special vocalists & songwriters coming up in two weeks! Rachael Kilgour and Jean Rohe will be performing on Sunday May 17, 7pm. My wife and I were really moved by Rachael’s gorgeous music at a house concert in NY about eight years ago, and I’ve been trying to put together a Rivergig with her ever since, so I’m really looking forward to this one. I’m also very much looking forward to holding this in a new venue, [the square]; it’s a great new community-oriented recording studio with wonderful people, so they have amazing sound quality and a great event space, very laid back and homey - ideal for a quasi-house concert! We’ll supply some appetizers starting at 6pm, with music at 7pm. BYOB. Feel free to bring some food/drinks if you want to contribute to the party!"
