Dune didn’t start as a product idea.
It started with curiosity.
About food.
About movement.
About how the body actually works.
Growing up in Northeastern Oregon, our founder Madeline spent a lot of time outside playing sports, experimenting in the kitchen, and paying attention to how food made her feel.
Over time, that curiosity turned into training, testing, and early protein bar prototypes made right in her own kitchen.
With a background in biology and biotech, science became part of the process too.
Dune came from the intersection of all of it: real ingredients, functional nutrition, and a better way to fuel everyday life.
Fuel looks different every day.
Some days it’s a quick run before everything starts.
Some days it’s getting outside and going longer than planned.
Some days it’s slowing down and staying out a little while.
