Silversound

After getting his start in San Francisco in the early 2010s, silversound relocated to Portland, OR in 2015. Since then, he has helped to produce q***r events such as Opal Underground, NoFOMO, Show Me Love, Circuit Breaker, and The Gay Nineties. He is also a resident DJ and the Operations Manager of No Requests, a house and techno nightclub in the basement of the historic United States National Bank Building in downtown Portland. His love of music finds physical manifestation in his vinyl collection, which includes 90s house, dubbed-out euphoric deep house, UKG/2-step, sexy darkroom techno, 70s–80s disco and Hi-NRG, and 60s–70s funk and soul. silversound is dedicated to upholding the inclusive, egalitarian principles of q***r nightlife culture: Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.
