Framing some newer work today in the studio. Some of these I finished on the boat this summer, some back home in the studio in September.

Russo Lee Gallery

Yesterday, I photographed the work I've finished so this year (and not with my iPhone this time!). Fun to see it all together. The paintings range in size from 20x20 inches to 36x36 inches. Acrylic, flashe, graphite, and sometimes gouache on panel. All 2024. Will be working on some smaller pieces on the boat over summer (10x10 inches, because...boat!) But I'm taking a fairly robust art kit this time. Still, sad to leave the studio for a couple months!

Been working on some new mockups for slightly larger paintings (36 x 36 inches). I've been making small mockups for larger work on the computer forever...I love this part of the experimentation process, and for me it's much quicker than a sketchbook (though it took me awhile not to feel less than because I'm one of those artists who doesn't love working in a sketchbook).
