I used Dall-e text to image AI engine to create some graphs related to topics in this page. For example, the following image is after entering "antennas propagation waves visualized". Some came out to be really great, some require improvements. For a full list of my Dall-e try outs, you can watch the following video. It consists of topics ranging from Fourier transform, soccer, mountains etc.

Periodic Random Function Generator 12/09/2021

In signal processing, for certain applications, periodic random signals might be needed. In this micro-tutorial we show how such a periodic random function can be generated. This is achieved by looping a 2d random noise onto itself to create a 1 dimensional random noise.

Antenna Array Beamforming using 2 Elements 10/29/2021

Here we show beamforming patterns generated by two dipole antenna elements fed with difference phase differences and separated by a certain distance. By changing the phase difference as well as the separation distance, the propagation pattern can be significantly changed.

Phase and Group Velocity: Multiple Scenarios in one Shot 10/22/2021

We simulate three different cases of phase and group velocity in this animation. Basically, summation of two sinusoids can create different phase and group velocities for the resulting signal. The first sinusoid for all the cases illustrated here are same (i.e., having the same wavelength, wavenumber and amplitude). The secondary sinusoids are different from each other in terms of their frequencies or wavenumber. When we add those components, then the resulting signals can have either positive, negative or zero group velocities.

Diffraction from Double Slits (Young's Double Slits) [FDTD Simulation] 10/03/2021

Diffraction from Double Slits (Young's Double Slits)

Diffraction is basically the phenomenon involving the bending of waves around obstacles and the spreading out of the waves past small openings. Huygen's Principle states that every point on a wavefront acts as a source of tiny wavelets moving forward with the same speed as the wave and the wavefront is the surface tangent to these wavelets.

Diffraction from Double Slits (Young's Double Slits) [FDTD Simulation] The double slit diffraction is illustrated via the use of finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulation. Two sets of double slits with different widths and...

Phased Array Antenna Beam Steering Animation (Beamforming) Beam steering via phased antenna arrays is demonstrated. The arrays are composed of 7 point sources uniformly spaced in a linear fashion (uniform linear arr...

Fourier Series Reconstruction On Map Contours using Matlab 03/06/2021

Here, we show how the 2D shapes can be reconstructed from Fourier series components. Basically, for each additive Fourier component the 2D Contour is created until the whole spectra is utilized.
