ChefStable Catering

To our dear event community, clients, and friends — after 8 years, ChefStable Catering will pause all business effective November 6th, 2022, while we evaluate our business and the industry as a whole. This decision was incredibly difficult and many factors impacted this shift including COVID, the uncertainty of the economy, rising operating costs, and the seachange in attitude towards gatherings. Our gratitude to our clients and community cannot be overstated, and we hope to continue the relationships we have built.

All of us were heartbroken to hear of the passing of colleague, friend and family member of our restaurant community, Chef Sarah Pliner. We had the pleasure and honor of cooking with Sarah as she led our kitchen to making our client’s menu dreams come true. We will always cherish what she contributed to the Portland dining scene and will remember the talent and passion she gave to all her food in the kitchen. Rest in peace Chef. 🧡

Sarah & Matt 6/25/22 ~ an outdoor wedding celebrated under the sun here in Portland 🥂Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a special Bao & Dumping Station of assorted bao and shu mai as well as a Pacific NW Station that included wild salmon, Oregon vegetables, beet & bresaola carpaccio with local hazelnuts and blue cheese and portobello mushrooms with Pinot Noir reduction
