The Schnauzer ear is a high-frequency disaster receiver and it picks up everything.
A doorbell, a knock, a delivery van two streets over, a noise on a TV show from 2003 β all the same level of national emergency.
You'd think we live in a war zone the way they react.
Whose Schnauzer treats every random sound as a five-alarm event?

The beard is not a feature. The beard is a delivery system.
Water bowl, garden, puddle, dinner β whatever goes in the beard is coming back out, on you. Or on your sofa. Your curtains.
