Hi there! I’m Meg—the other half of Bites & Such—and I’m so grateful for the chance to reintroduce myself and welcome anyone new here ❤️
I’ve had a passion for creating memorable experiences since I was young. Over the years, I’ve explored all kinds of creative outlets, but the common thread has always been building community through food, beverage, and thoughtfully curated environments.
After earning my BFA from MassArt, I spent time in event planning and production in the greater Boston area before making my way back home to Maine—a place that’s always fueled my creativity. Once I returned, I dove into hosting fundraising events for local nonprofits and expanded my bar knowledge with a focus on cocktail creation while working in some of Portland’s incredible restaurants. I worked in interior design. I worked in the oyster industry - from planning farm tours to shucking...
Along the way, I also started a small business centered around hand made jewelry, apparel, specialty baked goods, and floral design (turns out I don’t love narrowing things down 😂).
All of that led me to co-creating Bites & Such with Mimi—and it’s where everything comes together. Here, I get to wear all the hats: sous chef, beverage director, stylist, and hospitality lover.
I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love, and even more grateful for the support from this community. Thank you for being here 🫶

There’s something incredibly empowering about making your own bread. 🍞✨
Just flour, water and salt — and somehow, with a little patience and care, it turns into something warm and beautiful. It’s simple, but it never feels ordinary.
You can’t rush the rise. You can’t force the process. You have to trust it — and that’s part of the magic. The kneading, the waiting, the smell as it bakes… it’s grounding in a way that’s hard to explain.
Bread isn’t just food. It’s patience. It’s creativity. It’s therapy.

Reminiscing on our cute pie distribution this fall.
With the current events happening in our own back yard we're thinking a lot about community and how one defines and cultivates community. For us food is a huge part of not the most important part of community. ❤️❤️❤️ look after your neighbors & yourselves
