Selfies I gone and took.

A lot happened this year. I toured Europe.  I gave a work talk to 2000 people.  I pestered my friends into taking selfies.  And I did my level best to be as present as possible for Marlow, who I love beyond the edges of the limited imagination I had when she was born two years ago today.

Parenthood can envelop you completely -- and sometimes, you should let it -- but I tried hard to make room for the people and things that make me feel whole.  It wasn't perfect, and it wasn't enough, but it was my best effort, and it matters.

So here are some selfie snippets from a year that I can't believe is finally done.  The last one of Marlow and at the Monterey Aquarium isn't a selfie, but it's the best photo I took in 2025, and I wanted to show you.

There will be feasting and dancing in Jerusalem next year. 🗓️

I've spent SO MUCH time at , especially back in the aughts when I last lived in Modesto. One of the very first shows I ever had was at the Bean back in 2006... Kind of wild to play there again all these years later

We did it! 14 European shows in three weeks with an 18 month old kiddo in tow. We're all headed home today!

The trip was filled with incredible moments and logistical challenges, but overall it's a moment in time we won't soon forget, with new friends and core memories glued into our brains. Super special thanks to all the promoters and venues that invited us into their lovely spaces. Expect a tour photo dump soon!
