PriorGhost is just me—DIY—writing, recording, and producing in an upstairs landing turned makeshift studio. I wrote and performed acoustic indie/folk music in the Portland (OR) area for a long time, there wasn't a day I didn't pick up my guitar. As I got busier, and life got crazier; music faded away into the background, a big part of who I am faded along with it. I didn't write or make music for about 8 years. I was able to start making music again in late 2024 and all the pieces I had been missing started to come back. Leaning into production made music accessible again. Headphones on while everyone is asleep. "Headphones on for the win!"

Every song is still personal, messy and honest; maybe a bit strange. But the process and the sound is all new. We're on our way... I hope you enjoy it!
