So very pleased and relieved for my client to have her home now sold. For her it has been quite the journey. Prior to listing with me, she had this house on the market with another Realtor last summer and it did not go well. Not only did it not sell, they had very few showings; one prospective buyer pulled up and left before even going inside.

While this house has a lot going for it, it does have some challenges. Some houses can feel as though they practically sell themselves but there are also many like this one - homes that need more care and some creativity when marketing, in order for the public to see it in its best light; for prospective buyers to envision themselves there and see the possibilities.

Once I took the reins and reassessed pricing and presentation, it wasn’t long before we found the right buyer to begin this homes’ next chapter.

It’s so rewarding to help homeowners reach their goals - and I’m always up for a challenge.

Closing Day is always a special day but this one really feels triumphant for everyone involved. Through some unexpected twists & turns, it took a team effort to get us here. I’m feeling grateful to have worked with such patient, trusting, and wonderful sellers; along with caring and competent folks on the buyer side and the Title/Escrow Rockstars at Chicago Title that got us past the finish line. 🤘🏁

What a gorgeous weekend ☀️ Its springtime in Portland and a great way to celebrate is with tall glass of something tasty. May I suggest a:
Cherry Pop
- 2oz Gin
- 1oz Lemon Juice
- 1/2oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 1/2oz Simple Syrup
- 3 Fresh Cherries 🍒 (pits removed)
Muddle the cherries and syrup in a shaker, then add the rest. Shake & strain into an ice filled collins glass (pebble ice for extra credit)
Garnish with another cherry and a sprig of mint

A few highlights from my recent Spanish excursion. Another great trip to visit my Dad; this time meeting along the eastern coast of Spain. A few days in the lovely seaside town of Xabia, enjoying local seafood and a couple days of sun before the clouds rolled in. Then it was up the coast to the city of Valencia, during their annual celebrations, The Fallas. Took Dad to 3 golf courses (his favorite thing). The people, the architecture, and the paella were wonderful. 🇪🇸🦐
Now it is back to work! 🏠
