Heather said I couldn't have any more guitars. Well, she didn't say I couldn't get a jarana jarocha! This just arrived today from Mexico, thanks to mi amiga, .rebollosoo I can't wait to spend more time learning the son jarocho tradition with guiding me along the way.

On the way home from lunch with my niece and nephew today we were approaching Music Millenium and I blurted out "Who wants to go to a record store?" With exuberance, both confirmed they wanted to. I don't think my niece even knew what a record store was. Well, she learned all about it. Proud uncle moment, they both found MY record in the jazz section! I treated them and Heather to a record of their choice. Here are the spoils of our victory. I bought myself a CD I somehow didn't own...
