in 2023, the fda updated their guidelines and eliminated questions regarding sexual orientation, which has now expanded eligibility for folks in the lgbtq community to give blood. 🩸

donors will be entered for a chance to win tickets to the big gay dance party at the State Theatre, Portland, Maine on saturday, june 20! 🎫

we’ll also have a wellness fair with resources from MaineTransNet, Frannie Peabody Center, mainehealth, EqualityMaine & Maine Family Planning ✨

we’re only TEN DAYS away from Pride Portland! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 we’ve got fun plans to last all day, and we want you to join us 💖💖💖

9-11am: enjoy free coffee and donuts thanks to coffeebydesign and The Holy Donut | Maine Potato Donuts ☕️🍩 our central location and accesible building makes it the perfecting meeting spot for you and your friends before heading out to all the festivities

10:30am-12pm: march with us in the parade! 🪩 we’ll meet at the ecc at 10:30am then walk over to the starting point together. the parade begins at 11:30am. register using the link in our bio! 🔗

11am-4pm: we’re open to the public all day!! 🎈 come in and hang out all day or take a break, use the restrooms and chill for a bit in the a/c. we’ll have all sorts of free food, crafts, music and q***r joy 🍿🎨✨

12-3pm: Safe Combinations, MaineTransNet‘s thrift store, will be OPEN 🛍️come by and shop at portland’s thrift store for the trans community, by the trans community 🏳️‍⚧️

12-4pm: come say hi to us at our booth at the festival in deering oaks! 👋 we have all sorts of freebies with our new branding that you won’t want to miss 🥰 plus activities and giveaways!!

then of course, get ready to go to the officisl Pride Portland after party, the big gay dance party at State Theatre, Portland, Maine with all your friends 💅
