Dan Zimmerman of Spokes Fighting Strokes and his big trailer full of adaptive trikes are returning for an adaptive triking clinic at RecumbentPDX.
Dan brings trikes, and inspiration! Confined to a wheelchair after a 2005 stroke, Dan’s determination to overcome doctors’ grim prognosis led -in 2008- to his first recumbent trike. Nearly two decades later, in addition to now triking over 6000 miles a year, Dan travels the United States sharing more than his stories: that trailer of his is just brimming with adaptive trikes YOU can ride!

If you’re living with stroke, TBI, neuromuscular degenerative disease or most any disability, YOU CAN RIDE an adaptive trike -whether just around the front of the shop or in one of small groups touring Ladd's Addition’s beautiful Rose Gardens. If you’ve got the desire to ride, we’ll get you on a trike!

Bob spent a career in nuclear power -first, on Navy subs and then installing and maintaining civilian plants. He later relocated to Florida where he became a dedicated recumbent rider. But, not for Catrike. "I used to watch them race on the Withlacoochee out of Regis and Cindy Hampton's Trailside Trikes. But, in those days, Catrikes were for racing!" So, after twenty plus years riding other brands, Bob drove up from Mesa Arizona for his first Cat -a limited-edition Atomic Mango All Road. Bob already knows and likes the Grin Technologies hub motor, so we were happy to add one for him
Rebbeca's sister Nancy got her Catrike Villager a year ago. Rebbeca thought, "Well, THAT looks like fun!". So, now she has her own Villager in limited edition Cherry Charge. RPDX mechanics added a Bafang motor kit, ORTLIEB Outdoor Equipment panniers and dual flags (not shown).

2/25 of Catrike's limited run Atomic Mango All Road!!
To celebrate 25 years of manufacturing in the USA, Catrike issued two limited edition runs of twenty-five two-tone All Roads. One limited edition run is Electric Sky -Blue on Blue.
As this post goes up, RPDX mechanics are building the other limited edition color, Atomic Mango! Look for that post.

Here's Kevin with his newly-upgraded Catrike 559. RPDX mechanics added a Bosch eBike Systems Motor kit coupled with a 3X3 Gear hubs & bike components nine speed electronic shift kit. Kevin shares the trike with his sister Jennifer who lives with hemiparesis, so 3x3 wire-free bluetooth EShift controls can easily be moved to left or right side
