Callan Brown

New release last week from Cole Caldwell — I had a great time working on this song for Cole! It was my first remote session since moving to Portland, and I’m stoked with how it all came together. Go give “Wait for the Lord (Psalm 27)” a listen!

This Is The Day (Morning Song) with Yaz Williams (Brown) is out everywhere today🌅

I wrote this one morning a few years back, looking for some simple songs to start the day with our family. I started singing the words from Psalm 118 at our piano, and this was the first idea that fell out. Feels like the sleepy version of that classic Sunday school song “this is the day”.

Soon after our son was born, I started shooting film on an old camera I found at my folks house. This picture was from that first roll and still one of my favorites to this day — something about it just feels like grace.

This one has been sitting on my computer for quite some time, so I really am grateful to have this released today. I hope this song will find you well and meet you in those quiet spaces of your morning. Cheers!
