Lee Palmer is embarking on exciting new personal business journeys, including the upcoming launch of The Seasoned Explorer, where he’ll work as a travel documentarian and influencer exploring global cultures, cuisines, and experiences.

Inspired by the legacy of NBTA and ACTE—now GBTA—Lee values the mission of “one industry, one voice,” bringing professionals together to build a stronger future for business travel. Through GBTA, he’s gained the knowledge and resources to navigate a rapidly evolving industry, successfully managing world-class travel programs and building a career with organizations like the NBA, MGM Studios, and Amazon.

Lee currently and proudly serves as Vice President of the Oregon Chapter of GBTA. His favorite moments include speaking as a Main Stage panelist at the 2022 GBTA Convention in San Diego and being named the 2025 GBTA Ladders Mentor of the Year.

His advice: get involved—there’s so much to learn, and the relationships you build will last a lifetime.

He’s especially excited (and cautiously optimistic) about AI and how it will shape the future of business travel.
