Jillian McCormick has been in the fashion designing business for 6 years. Specializing in illustrations, construction and visuals.
I have been working in the design field for 6 years. I am familiar with anything from coordinating fashion events, merchandising display windows, designing bridal for wholesale and retail, all the while illustrating and constructing my own collections. I believe every garment should hold strong couture lines while being comfortable and functional. I am the blend between high end and marketable.

I had a scrap piece of butcher paper that was too wrinkly for its original use, so I turned it into wrapping paper! Who’s going to be the lucky one who gets their gift in this because it fits the the present? Who knows…

Life happened really fast, this October. I lost my Gram, Janie McCormick. She is some one who selflessly dropped out if school to help raise her sisters, then pursued her life as an artist and got a degree in digital design, always had a song to hum to, always had a smile, and was always stylish. Posting on instagram about this feels a little insincere in comparison to how I am feeling… but one step at a time. I have been blessed with a decent amount of sewing notions from her, and i look forward to using them with love in my next creations. She will live on. •••

March is here and I got to illustrate a couple of things for over the last little bit:) •••
Sweet Gravy:) she was being so good watching me sew… until she discovered she could pull my pins out of my fabric. And guess who started following suit behind her? Sure enough, Grits jumped up just moments after, and tried to pull my pins out too! Adorable little fart faces. •••

Turns out, butcher paper is super fun to write on! Just a teaser image of some seasonal flavors botto’s bbq] offer at different times through out the year. I really liked how the colors turned out ;) More menu work photos for botto’s bbq] to come!! (SideNote: Seamsters/Sewists don’t fear! Though that roller/cutter may look “fabric only” it’s actually my POS go to;) I have a much better one for my fabric!)
