Bike night is kicking off tonight "Unofficially" but going on from this week until the snow makes us stop!

Wow! What a whirlwind of a day we had yesterday! I am still trying to figure out how my post went from letting my customers know that we are still open, and it is ok to come in and patronize my business. To Mad Greek doesn't support the cause and we will no longer support you because of your negative post.
Let's start with the facts.

-Ownership and management was not informed or included in any planning of yesterdays picket line around our business. Had we known anything about it we would have let customers know in advance and or closed for the day as to not pay servers and cooks wages due to loss of business.

-No one was turned away for use of shelter/Bathroom facilities.


-Many customers reached out saying they would not cross the picket line and enter my business because they felt unsafe or to support the strike.

-Our total sales for the day were down 75% mostly due to lunch sales totaling less than $300. You would think with that many people blocking 2 entrances to your business it would have been higher.

-Mad Greek Deli and all involved support the employees of PCC and are more than happy to still provide a place to gather, stay warm, provide facilities, and offer food and beverages at a discount.

Everyone here at Mad Greek Deli would like to officially welcome any and all involved to come and support the same business that never asked you to leave, provided you a safe and warm place to shelter, and openly let anyone use your facility regardless of purchase. If anyone was offended by my post sharing simply that the protest was not for our business I am truly sorry. I did receive some of my education from PCC and am so proud that we are a gathering place for the staff and students.

Hi Mad Greek Deli Family. The picket line has nothing to do with us!!! It is for staff at PCC. Please still Come to eat and have a beverage. We have plenty of seats to stay warm and enjoy food and beverage tomorrow if they come back.
