I have teamed up with amazing local author to illustrate her picture book, “The Sky Between: A Story of Differences and Belonging.” Here are a few sneak peeks at the sketch phase!

In addition to working on her writing projects, Erika is also a licensed professional counselor here in Portland (all while working on her PhD!)
Her unique book features a crow and a seagull exploring very human themes of separation, acceptance and integration all while navigating through beautiful (and delightfully eerie) dreamlike sequences…

I feel super lucky to be working with Erika, a multitalented creator and inspiring human! Stay tuned for more updates as this project develops! 🐦‍⬛🕊️🪶🪹
