After much discussion and consideration, we’ve decided to be closed tomorrow in support of the general strike and in solidarity with our immigrant friends and neighbors here in Portland, throughout Maine and across our country. For a small business, making the decision to be closed on what is one of the busiest days of the week during one of the quietest times of the year… well, it’s complicated but we all feel it’s the right thing to do. Our amazing staff will be compensated for lost hours. We are REALLY looking forward to welcoming you back on Saturday.

During this season of gratitude, we’re grateful for our amazing crew ( thanks gals!), our cool and vibrant block and neighbors, our sweet little space and of course all of you. Thank you for helping us do what we love, keeping lots of feet stylish and comfy and bringing a little joy and fun to our corner of the world.

Also the Back Cove Music and Arts Festival is happening Saturday and Sunday along with all of the very cool performances at local venues throughout the peninsula aaaand Beach to Beacon is tomorrow!
