The Cape Of Good Hope - the most western point of Africa.

This past week I had the pleasure of visiting Gansbaai to learn more about South Africa’s marine life. I saw the Marine Big 5 (whales, sharks, seals, dolphins, and penguins) while going out on the boat with and visiting the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary I also had some excellent seafood at the Great White House where tours are operated out of.

I learned so much about these magnificent marine five and can’t wait to share it all with our explorers. And if you want to learn more about what these organizations are doing for conservation, visit to learn more about their efforts and how you can help.

I had a wonderful day exploring two markets in Cape Town before the Springboks vs All Blacks game. I ate soooo much food and drooled over so much more.

Usually I’m a rock guy, but the Flora of Table Mountain is absolutely stunning. I stayed up on top for about six hours. Mostly because every few steps you encounter some new plant. In fact, Table Mountain has more plant species than all of the United Kingdom.
