FPA Orange County - Quarterly Education Meetings

Hey! It's Alex here.

You might notice some changes happening on this page, so I wanted to thank you for being here.

For the last 8 years, I've been providing creative services (video, photo, audio, and design) to a variety of clients in the past, mainly as a solo videographer. This means I was the one advising my clients, developing the creative concepts, shooting and editing it all together.

As my freelancing business continued to grow, I started to feel the limits on what I was able to produce on my own. So during the last few years, I started to work with other creative professionals and tested the waters with working in a team setting.

What I learned by doing this was that my clients and I were able to accomplish so much more, significantly raise the quality of production, and most importantly, create a bigger impact on my clients' businesses and organizations.

As of this year, I've made the decision to officially incorporate The Steady Studio Company and I will be focusing on the rest of this year in growing my team with a vision to produce the best work for our clients.

You can expect me to be sharing more about this journey on my personal social media channels and educational media here on the Steady Studio social media channels.

We are local to Los Angeles, Orange County, and Portland, OR, and available to travel nationwide.

I remember being asked by one of the high school teachers at my church to film her wedding four years ago and not being really sure if I was able to do it or not. I said yes and I remember trying to shoot the entire on my own, and renting and bringing way more equipment than I needed.

Since then, others have asked me to film their weddings and more opportunities came through referrals. Looking back, I've learned so much about wedding films and started to develop my own style.

Really proud of how this one came out, and it was so much fun working with AlphaJoy Lawson and Michael John Lawson. I've been blessed by their kindness and genuine hearts, and through working with them, I feel like I've really found my own personal "style."
