A little rant to throw out there…

When you are being held accountable, that is not called abuse, or judgment. That is called loving you enough to help you.

When it comes to work, not doing what you are paid to do is called stealing. That goes for ministry and marketplace.

We are moving into a time where there will be more people looking for jobs, but there will be no or little jobs available. People with entitlement who expect to get a paycheck and not do what they are paid to do are going to suffer greatly.

It’s time for people to work with integrity and have a good work ethic. Entitled people are going to find them self broke.

As a business owner, I have had to fire people. As a pastor I have had to fire and release people. Of course people in leadership in ministry or workplace get a bad things spoken about them when they fire someone.

Wise business owners and pastors are wise enough to follow up and do a little background check before they hire someone.

Your first red flag is when somebody wants to talk badly about the person they just used to work for. That lets you know that they will talk about you the same way if you have to let them go.

Be wise. Do your job well. Be a person of your word. Remember that you always rep King Jesus so keep that puritan work ethic in effect.

God knows the thoughts and intents of a person’s heart. When you hear people speak, take time to read between the lines correctly. Sometimes you are are not correct in your assessment. Criticism can come from defensive perspective. Ask yourself why you are so defensive before you respond. Maybe assume the best rather than the worst. . Revolution Church Portland
