This Sustainable Building Week event features local engineers who will give a brief presentation on sustainable design practices from a structural perspective, followed by an opportunity to discuss and enjoy beverages with other attendees.

Introduction to embodied carbon reduction strategies will be provided using a real-world project example from our event sponsor, PCS Structural Solutions.

Join the IIDA Oregon Chapter for their inaugural climate action focused event hosted by Schoolhouse. Come enjoy a free signature coffee drink from Electrica Coffee and network with other professionals interested in sustainability and share these ideas and passion with Chapter President Peter Harrison. This Sustainable Building Week event will feature a bond-wide showcase of the nine major Multnomah County Library projects with a focus on climate, health, equity, and community. The design and construction teams will be joined by representatives from MCL to highlight system-wide successes as well as the unique aspects of each of the projects.
