Portland Burrito Brigade

Our next event is this Sunday! If you have any treats, water or warm weather gear for distro this week is a great time.

Today we made 280 burritos, and we also distributed bottled water and Coke that was donated by another group at the Church.

Hello all! We are starting our spring/summer fundraising and donation drive. We are aiming to increase production and make 300-400 burritos each month.

Currently we operate at a cost of about $.75/burrito. In addition to buying any ingredients that aren't donated, we pay rent for our kitchen space, buy supplies like gloves and foil, and occasionally buy extra supplies like water bottles or hand warmers.

With lots of help from the Portland Vegan Scouts as well as several new and returning volunteers, we made 300 burritos last weekend and distributed them throughout Portland!

Our next dates are April 13 and May 11 (which is also Mothers Day - bring your mom!)
