Summer has arrived at ! So much happening this week, it can be hard to keep up!

We just had the .tea fest which we are grateful for such a lovely turn out.

This Friday is our weekly SpeakTeasy tea community night from 7p-10p.

Saturday we have Dr. Paul from coming to give an updated Chinese cosmology talk on Summer in the Fire Horse Year, we’ll have tea and talks from 2p-4p.

That evening of June 6th we have our favorite regular and legendary musician coming to play Kora as we share tea together in a new way of experiencing tea in a concert setting with the beginning of our Ambient Garden tea and summer sounds series.

To round out the celebration of summer we have a return of our favorite local Koto Japanese harpist Josh for afternoon Koto & tea ambience on Sunday from 4p-6p!

Come celebrate the summer with us in talks and musical performances all weekend this weekend at !

These wildly unique, yet strikingly minimalist PNW-made teapots are our first antler handle teapots from sustainability sourced, naturally fallen Roe deer antlers. The matte clear glazed pot itself is made by one of our longest-term potter exhibitors at Enthea, Arturo Alvarez, while the handle itself was attached by ‘s own artisan and owner, Steve Odell. Surface will crackle and patina beautifully with age and tea brewing use. This teapot is 165ml and ships in a large, durable padded box. $320 each. Available on Rabbitsmoontea.com

The last two weeks have been the worst two weeks in the history of . Many who don’t run a small business may not always know that one slow day is a major hit, let alone two weeks straight. If you love us and want to see us endure and thrive beyond social and seasonal dips, do kindly consider supporting us. It was suggested to leave our Venmo, it’s , we just use my name for now. Thanks.

We’ve never asked for help, we’ve never begged for support, we’ve never ever had any backers, or financiers, nest eggs, trust funds, loans or private funding or investors. This is all 100% brute force, hard won, community-driven blood, sweat and tears effort to keep us thriving. And thriving we often are.

At this moment, we are definitely not thriving. And it’s very hard for us to openly admit it because we fear people associating us with that in perpetuity. We are scrappy and have survived far worse, right now due to economic climateEnthea Teahousers beyond our control. We are barely treading water and need your active and direct support to keep the ship steady.

Please bring your friends, family, come study or just read a book in our garden. We advocate to treat us as the community hub for daily engagement that we are not just a special occasion space. We are not a special occasion space. We depend on people treating us like a part of family and community. As we think of you as such.

If you’re local, come for a cup of tea, it’s incredible in the bamboo garden today. If not local, shoot as a dm we ship nationally and internationally.

We’ll be posting a new t-shirt design AND brand new redwood tea trays tomorrow on our website.

We are scrappy and endured pandemics and economic downturns but we need you to keep the dream alive.

Until the kettle boils,
Steve.

Enthea Teahouse ‘s first free tea picnic potluck in the park of 2026 was an absolute success. Our next Tea picnic potluck in the park will be Saturday, June 13th, 4p-8p.

We had one hundred guests come to enjoy tea across six different tea tables! Hopefully we’ll have more next time.

Our biggest offering yet. We love seeing people come out and enjoy free tea and conversation in public with friends and friends-to-be!

As always this is a vegan potluck. Our teahouse is a vegan teahouse and we are sponsoring this event. All ways of eating are accepted, but we ask you to bring vegan dishes only for our events. Everyone can eat vegan if they want, not everyone can eat non-vegan.

For those who have never come out to a public tea time, don’t worry! It’s just tea in the park! Many, many people don’t know eachother, it’s meant to be a place everyone is welcome to come, share tea and meet friends, so if you are excited and come out. Don’t be shy if you want tea. It is your responsibility to advocate for yourself and your curiosity. There’s always space at a tea table somewhere even if it doesn’t look like there’s space, just ask. We will always make space even if it’s to guide you to a table where there is more room. Servers can’t always see or know when someone wants to join for tea but is too nervous or scared to speak for themselves. Please kindly speak for yourself if no one else is for you. We can’t help you without knowing your needs. Thanks!

After three long seasons, June 7th from 4p-6p Koto and Tea returns to ! Josh of is back from his Japan study and ready to share new compositions in Enthea’s bamboo garden all summer long.

Come and enjoy Koto once more outside in the cozy atmosphere of our garden and enjoy tea with us during the warm summer season.

Sometimes, tea and good company is enough to remember the important things in life.

Come and share a cup with us at our full service tea bar or our menu tea service!

As a reminder is not a concert, this is background ambient live music we offer every single 1st and 3rd Sunday from 4p-6p for the last two years. It will continue through the year as available. Casual conversations, normal tones of voice and friendly drop ins for tea are advocated, encouraged and most welcome!

See you soon for Koto and tea!

It’s a glorious sunny Sunday in Portland, an absolutely perfect afternoon for tea in ‘s bamboo garden with our garden guardian Albus.

The post-tax season time of year can be a little slow for us so we’d love your support. Bring friends, family, a whole group or just yourself and a book, we love people who come to study, or just vibe. We implore you to use us as a community space, not just a “special occasion experience.” We exist for you and do not exist without you.

Looking forward to sharing some sunny dappling over tea!
