Civics Learning Project founded on the belief that the way to preserve democracy is to teach democracy

05/28/2026

The Civics Learning Project is hiring! CLP is seeking 3 Regional Program Managers (RPMs) to join our team for positions based in Portland, Southern Oregon, and Eastern Oregon, with some travel required. We believe the best way to preserve democracy is to teach democracy, and RPMs are the essential connection between CLP’s programming and resources and classrooms across the state. Candidates should bring prior experience with classroom teaching, experiential learning, community organizing, movement building, and a knowledge of civic institutions in their region. Apply today here -- https://civicslearning.org/join-our-team/ !

As we wrap up National Voter Education Week, we’re reminded of the power of participation. 🗳️

“National Voter Education Week is about your power as an American citizen: the power of your voice, your ballot, your choice. In Oregon, we make it easy by allowing folks to vote securely and privately from the comfort of their own homes because we know that when more people participate, our democracy is stronger—plain and simple. Make sure you are registered and have a plan to vote in the next election: there’s one on November 4, 2025.”
— Secretary Tobias Read

We look forward to hearing more from Secretary Read as our keynote speaker at the 2025 Oregon Civics Conference!
