Welcome Andrea Chladek, LAc to Vetiver. Andrea comes to us with a background in nursing, while specializing in women’s health. She left nursing to pursue a slower and more spirit focused medicine. Her areas of focus in acupuncture are women’s health, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum care, stress reduction and pain management. She is available to take patients Saturday - Wednesday. Lung 1 is a point that is used for cough, fullness in the chest, asthma, difficulty breathing, and phlegm in the lungs. It’s also a point that is used in grief. When you feel cut off from the world. Isolated. Your inspiration may be lacking and you’re lacking to see beauty. Use this point to bring you back to your self and to restore security and inspiration. To see your higher purpose. Try tapping on this point in the morning for 1 minute. Cross your arms making an x over your chest, placing your index and middle finger just below the hollow beneath your collar bone (see next photo). Close your eyes. Bring your breath into your diaphragm, filling up your belly and begin tapping to stimulate this point. @ Portland, Oregon
