The final piece of the trip is a heavy duty shelf that carried the Technicolor butcher block to match the cabinet that sits below. He had one request: I need a shelf I can put an amp on. How could we say no to that? 👌🏻

The second half of these deliveries did not disappoint! We took a mini tour of LA because I () had never graced its soil. We ended up at 5B to meet up with . We built him a desk last winter or two, but got an email just saying, ‘I need more masterpieces’. We ended up creating some individual pieces that carry some through lines over all 3. When we are given the creative green light to do our thing, we truly flourish. Thank you Josh for trusting us to get buck wild. 🙏🏻
The cabinet carries Josh’s 3 stripe theme from the desk we built and blends with the butcher block studio rack we built. It’s solid red oak, with 3 stripe rosewood/padauk/maple, and tracers of gen-u-ine hardwoods. It sounds hokey, but we kept saying this piece built itself. It kept showing us confidently which proportions looked right and when to stop overthinking. This cabinet is Top 3 for sure. Enjoy this thing buddy, be safe. 👊🏻

A few weeks back, we made a Hail Mary drive down to the LA area to deliver some pieces for some friends. More on that later!
First was a piece for our buddy . He and his wife needed a new home for kid’s toys and wanted it to last generations. Enter this behemoth. Solid beautiful black walnut with 2 deep poplar drawers. Other than the thicc stance, we love the 3 piece top, and especially the Purple Heart inlay pulls.
As it is never complete without a friend, we also fashioned him an entry table. It’s a 1 piece top with joined walnut legs. They’re both beauts Clark! Thank you Jarrod, this was a fun one to tackle.

to this big ol’ bench! Looking at black walnut never gets old.

The Churchill Kegerator. Built for the team at .nw in Lake Oswego. They had a vision of a corner piece to use for hosting and creating a lively atmosphere. We took it upon ourselves to deliver just that. We love trying new processes and taking on new challenges, and this piece has it all. The main attractions are a CNC routed logo filled with tinted epoxy, custom tap handles, and a waterfall dual panel on the left side. All in all, it is a project full of ‘firsts’, which are our favorites. They test you, but at the end of the day they reward you tenfold when they’re complete. Huge thank you to our buddy for shooting and editing these fantastic shots! We made it, he made it look good. More to come! 📷
