A candidate for Beaverton City Council was arrested Monday night after an alleged menacing incident near a ballot drop box, police said. Investigators say the suspect, identified as Antonio C. Pirog, was accused of revealing a gun during a dispute near the Beaverton City Library and was later arrested and charged with menacing and unlawful use of a weapon.
