Another great article about the PDX Cyber Camp was just published in the Lake Oswego Review and featured interviews with camp co-founders Charlie Kawasaki and Zander Work. Mary Kay Petersen of Mentor Graphics, host of the camp held on sponsor Mentor Graphics' campus, also shared some of her insight about the importance of cybersecurity awareness and training.
Zander, thanks again for all of your hard work on PDX Cyber Camp and best of luck with your computer science studies at Oregon State University in the fall!

Thanks to Mentor Graphics and Mary Kay Petersen, IT Director at Mentor Graphics, for hosting our special PDX Cyber Camp banquet last night at Mentor Graphics' beautiful campus in Wilsonville. It was fantastic. Great speakers, good food and lots of inspiration for the students.
Camp Co-Founder Charlie Kawasaki kicked the evening off with some brief remarks before handing off to IBM's Keith Brown who gave a talk about IBM's commitment to diversity and support of the PDX Cyber Camp. Thanks Keith!
Our other speakers included Wayne Machuca from Mt. Hood Community College, Kris Rosenberg from Oregon Tech and Rakesh Bobba from Oregon State University.
At the end of the evening, HP's Barbara Berge thanked her husband Charlie for his hard work on the camp and shared a few words about how the PDX Cyber Camp was a result of a family brainstorm with her daughter Amelia Kawasaki, Charlie and herself about how to give Amelia an opportunity to get some great cybersecurity experience while still in high school that would also benefit other high school students. The result is our successful and increasingly popular PDX Cyber Camp! A nice win, win!
