Little late to and realized that I should probably say something regarding it also being the 20th anniversary of my first hard labored outing as 20 YEARS! Obviously it was release before bandcamp was a thing, way back when we were making CD cases out of my family's ribbon business ribbons. But when Bandcamp came around I remember I was releasing my first double album THE BUNGLED recorded with newfound peeps in San Francisco, and a personal fave, THE BOTCHED with Dom (my partner in Hymn's Fostex 8 track construction and frequent musick fairy that blesses my story every 7 years or so - anyway BANDCAMP became a viable outlet to distribute our hard labored works outside of the MP3 dirge and compression nightmares abound. That was around 17 years ago and has been on bandcamp ever since. A few years ago I took the many DAKOTA SLIM records off of streaming platforms, tired of the homogenous sonicks and cruddy overtones of the practice. But the ones not on other labels stayed put.
20 years of releasing heartcrafted sigils of specific eras in my life as hypersigil constructs tethwred only by my innate obsession with American musicology - some made in fancy studios, some made in ex-girlfriends' closets, they mostly all made their way able to be heard as sonically intended via Bandcamp.

This we3k, after just releasing a new the zillionth album of original musick under , I made sure to create and construct a bandcamp specific tethered mutation of our hosted release, free from all streamers and back on our custom plot of internet land. But Bandcamp remained as true a viable dispatcher of the experimental release, and it still hosts our international collections and madcap genre-spectrum mixtapes, ways to sell and distribute our somatick releases like the hexkassettes of episodes and , trans-national magickal desert doom, full magickal workings like the aspektre working as an unrealized film score from ECTOGASM and so much more
