A Portland inventorās idea is helping make your power more reliable, right here at home.
Cody Davis, born and raised in Portland, recently joined our crews in Hillsboro to see his patented technology in action.
His innovation? A ceramic coating for transmission lines that works like sunscreen āreflecting heat and helping lines stay coolerāļø
The impact? More reliable power without building new transmission lines.
This spring, we installed fire-resistant mesh wraps on nearly 3,000 power poles across rural Washington, Yamhill and Polk counties.
Itās one of the many ways weāre strengthening the gridā”and building resilience for the communities we proudly serve.
