Multiple cars being collected for the sunshine today. I'm hoping to work on more cars during the rain later this week. Rain or shine we keep doing our best for British cars.

Lots of red sports cars in recently: All the colors of the rainbow are welcome here. The one year only paint options of the 70's always make life fun. Limeflower MGB anyone?

It's been a few years since we have worked on Scott's Jensen Healey. The engine/transmission swap is still working great. All it needed was a once over and an oil change.

Working on the Jensen, it makes me think about the fuel crisis of the 1970's and the world events currently unfolding now... The old Jensen has been there and done this all before.

The warm weather is here: Portland's last standing vintage British repair shop is solving problems and making a path forward. I'm grateful for those that still want to live the classic car dream. Thank you all!

Finished the final touches on Shawn’s Spitfire this past week. This car is far and away the nicest example we have worked on in years. After the Thanksgiving activities it’s gonna be a very British Christmas arriving early for him. Thanks for the opportunity to sort this clean machine out Shawn!

There is something so right about the red interior of a 1961 Morris Minor as a plinth to musical royalty

When Billy (co-founder of BMC) isn’t making carburetors function beautifully he is hard at work making beautiful guitars. An excellent combination of curves and craftsmanship.

One thing that gets annoying about classic car repair is: parts quality! For $336 dollars one would think a brake master cylinder would work. This is master cylinder number two and it leaks less than the first master cylinder but will still completely fail in short order. Looks like rebuilding the original master cylinder is the best path forward: now the car can collect dust while we wait for a part to hopefully function…

For years I’ve tried to class up 42nd ave with British sports cars. Today; Cully Strength has tilled up the weeds and put some mulch down. Now if I could find Roger the Shrubber 42nd ave would be a whole different place!

The mid 1970’s sure had some fun colors.
