Thank you Bridgetown Bites for updating on our opening! We are definitely “full steam ahead”! Still growing into our new space and already feeling good about not turning away as many walk-in diners and having enough space for larger parties has made it feel so much more smooth for service. Thank you for those that have had to experience some growing pains like systems not using our address, after… updating our address, systems showing ¿both? addresses? Delivery drivers cancelling orders, doordash being… doordash you know, growing pains. Nonetheless we still are serving delicious vegan dimsum and pan-Asian fare and most everything else has been a dream! We still get pet booked up on nights and weekends but now larger parties won’t take up 50% of our available tables scooted together and there still is plenty of room for other folks!

Grilled green papaya, calamansi vegan sashimi, bangus lox, vegan bay shrimp, snow pea pods, water cress and tamarind whipped cashew cream cheese. Today is our last day of service at our Belmont street location until we open our doors at 3632 SE Hawthorne blvd Thursday! We’re gonna sell some of our pan-Asian fare out of the doors of the new space today for the Hawthorne Street Fair from 12pm-6pm as well so come support while celebrating our new neighborhood! Will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to move and finalize the new space. We can’t wait to shoe you the new space!

We originally wanted a better post for today other than saying that we’re closing half of our dining room because of our lack of sufficient air-conditioning for the next few days. We have a HEPA filter, strong enough for the back dining room, and we’re gonna do what we can to keep y’all comfortable. ✨⭐️🌟✨Hold out for just another couple of weeks until we are able to move into our new space… we’ve had it with our current space with so many issues and so many reasons. We officially signed ourselves into a space that y’all already love, has working industrial AC and heating, and this time around we won’t be extorted for $130,000 in order to move into this space. Official, clean, comfortable air year-round and a five year lease plus a five-year renewal? We already signed up and we can’t wait to reveal to y’all in the next few posts.

We are so proud of one of our worker owners Chloe for passing her nursing exam and officially entering into one of the most important roles in our society, healing. A long road is an understatement, she has persevered through heart ache, monumental upheaval and health challenges but she still studied, showed up for us and made our world brighter with her presence. We’re excited for this next chapter of yours and look forward to hearing about another side of service to our community! She’ll still be helping us with our dim sum and service here and there, take a moment to congratulate her!!! 🎊🙌🏽🫶🏽👏🏽🎉
