In 2022 the AFP-NNE and Demont Associates Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award and Grant went to Kasey Jordan of Lamoine, ME. Kasey has taken it upon herself to raise nearly $40,000 in cash gifts and countless gifts in-kind for her Girl Scout Gold Award project "Tiny Steps" a transitional home for a homeless female veterans. Kasey's efforts have brought together her scout troop, friends, neighbors, and over 100 individuals from the greater communities of Trenton, Lamoine, and Ellsworth to shed light the difficulties female veterans face as they transition home from combat. At Demont Associates, we hope that other young leaders like Kasey continue to support the well-being of others and shine a light on veterans needs.
