From the Olympic Nation Forrest waterfalls & wildflower hikes, through Mt Hood, the Painted Hills, & beyond— Adventure Queen (hbd!) always seems to find a new place to roam. Before she hits the road? A Kau Kau pit stop for a backpack spam snack! ☀️🤙🏽
We love seeing our musubi tag along on her adventures season after season. What starts as a quick stop on Alberta ends up in some of the most beautiful corners of the Pacific Northwest.
Spring was a good one. Summer’s in full swing & we’re already looking forward to the next postcard from the trail. 📸🌄

The menu started with a crispy lattice pork belly dumplings swimming in sinigang broth & ended with grilled ube butter mochi, calamansi-li hing gelee & halo halo. 🤙🏽 In between was everything we hoped it would be.
Cold Noods Palabok built on noodles with shrimp, calamansi & chicharrones. Chicken Inasal Musubi. SPAM Lumpia. Dinuguan Lau Lau wrapped in luʻau leaf. Kalua Pig Head Sisig Ssam piled high with pickles, herbs & crispy pig ear. It was also the debut of Geri’s Monggo Tofu, loaded with black bean, wood ear mushroom & seasonal beans!❤️🔥
The best parts of nights like these is getting the opportunity to build something new— taking ideas, ingredients, techniques, memories, & stories from both kitchens & watching them come together into a menu that only exists for a single evening.
We had a blast in the kitchen, every time we get together it’s nonstop laughter, good food, plenty of talking story, & a reminder of how lucky we are to have friends like these in our corner. 🙌🏽

As promised, we’ve got a new noodle dish in the house!🌤️ This week’s special is a Cold Szechwan Noodle dish built around Tokyo Noodles— a little more bounce, a little more chew, & the perfect foundation for this build. 🙌🏽 Lots of texture, lots of flavor, & a little bit of rejuvenation in every bite as we start trading rainy days for sunnier ones.

The Teri Burger is on the board for Memorial Day weekend 🌺🍔
7oz St. Helen’s Beef patty, teriyaki, Tillamook cheddar, red onion, iceberg, tomato, & Balong’s pandesal with curly fries on the side.
A classic, nostalgic teri burger that reminds us of getting out from school & heading straight to the beach. 🤙🏽 Simple food, little messy, super satisfying!
We really love being able to tell that story here— building this dish around quality, sustainable, & local ingredients like Angus beef from St. Helens Beef, Tillamook cheddar, & freshly baked pandesal from our friends at .balong 🙌🏽 Those details are everything to us.

Back in 2024, we had the opportunity to collaborate during Pamana’s days on Alberta Street — creating a menu that really honed in on Filipino & Hawaiʻi flavors, techniques, comfort foods, & all the little details that make cooking from culture feel so personal.🔥Popping up in their food truck was such a fun, meaningful event for both of our teams, so getting to come back together for round 2 feels extra special!
This time, we’ll be joining in the Hoxton kitchen for a one-night-only collaborative dinner rooted in island influence, Filipino flavors, seasonal ingredients, & community. ❤️🔥
